What we do with your data.

Here is what Ocean Tax collects through this website, why it is used, who may process it and how you can exercise your rights.

Who is responsible

Data collected on this site is processed by Ocean Tax Consultoria Tributária, company number 46.409.407/0001-78, based at Rua Tamandaré, 140, sala 1503, Pátria Nova, Novo Hamburgo/RS, Brazil.

What we collect

Contact forms may collect your name, email, phone number, company, sector, tax regime, revenue range, subject, message and, when provided, how you found us. The Wealth Diagnostic also records the 17 answers and the reading calculated for each dimension. We do not ask for national ID, card details or health information, and no form has a field for them: the message fields are free text, so data of that kind typed there arrives along with the rest.

Source data

We may record the source page, the address that referred your visit and campaign parameters present in the link, such as UTM, gclid and fbclid. These data are associated with the submitted contact and help us understand which channels originate enquiries.

What it is for

We use the data to understand the enquiry, organise service and contact you about the selected subject. Tax regime, revenue, area of interest and diagnostic answers may generate an internal routing classification. The system does not automatically reject an enquiry. Ocean Tax does not sell, rent or add these data to mailing lists.

Legal grounds

Requested contact and steps related to a possible engagement are processed in order to respond to your request. Service organisation, website security and source analysis may rely on Ocean Tax’s legitimate interests, limited to what is necessary and subject to your rights. Legal or regulatory duties may support specific processing and retention.

How long we keep it

We retain data for as long as necessary to handle and follow up the enquiry. Retention may continue where required by law or contract, for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, or under another basis permitted by Brazilian data protection law. Outside these situations, the data subject may request deletion.

Who we share it with

We use infrastructure, database, storage and transactional email providers to run the website, store records and notify our team of a new enquiry. These services currently include Vercel, Neon and Resend. They receive only the data needed for the contracted function. Access to records is restricted to authorised people. The notification sent to our team creates a copy of the contact details in the mailbox of whoever handles it, and that copy is taken into account when a deletion request is handled.

International transfers

Some providers may process data or provide support outside Brazil. Where this occurs, Ocean Tax uses mechanisms compatible with Brazilian data protection law and the rules issued by the Brazilian Data Protection Authority.

Cookies and measurement

The public website does not create advertising cookies or load third-party measurement tools. The administration panel uses a session cookie only to keep authorised website administrators signed in.

Your rights

You may exercise the rights available under Brazilian data protection law, including confirmation of processing, access, correction, objection and, where applicable, deletion. Some data may be retained where permitted by law. Send your request to atendimento@oceantax.com.br.
